MANY MOONS BELGIAN TRIPEL ALE ABV 8.6 - IBU 38 With so many beer styles available, one may slip to the back of the mind, yet never to be forgotten. As is the Belgian Tripel for good ol' Willy the Brewer. "Many Moons" ago, Homebrewer Willy frequently dabbled in Belgian styles, and now he's back to his roots with a style that gave him the passion for brewing to begin with. This large beer is dangerously drinkable, with orange, clove, and hints of banana aromas, common to many Belgian style beers. Many Moons has a rounded malt backbone and assertive bitterness, followed by an incredibly clean and dry finish, making you want to drink more and more! Which you can't, because it's limited to two per customer.
VIXEN BELGIAN SOUR ALE ABV 4.9 - IBU 16 This sly red fox will remind you of a barrel aged Flanders Red Sour Ale, and she’s far more sour than the Dominatrix she replaced. The rich plum and raisin malt character is balanced with hints of phenols and esters from the Belgian yeast, all underlying the prominent sourness, reminiscent of cherry, currant, and orange. If you’re fixin' for a Vixen, she’s your gal!
STEAMPUNK CALIFORNIA COMMON ABV 4.9 - IBU 30 Originally known as Steam Beer, the California Common was brewed into large open fermenters called coolships, where they would use the cool air in the San Francisco Bay area to help cool the beer in lieu of refrigeration. The steam coming from the coolships coined the name. Steampunk possesses a rich and toasty caramel maltiness, utilizes a hop often in the Northern Brewer style, and features a rustic woodsy and mint flavor and aroma. A great beer style to add to the lineup as spring approaches.
DEAD OF NIGHT BLACK INDIA PALE ALE ABV 7.3 - IBU 77 One sip of this dark, bitter, hoppy, beer will transport you straight to a secluded campfire, full of dancing embers, as the night draws to an end. It is the dead of night.
